Little Star Paulton

Operating from rooms at Elm Hayes surgery, our dedicated baby room at Paulton is designed to meet the needs of our youngest little stars, from birth to 2 ½ years. Based on an ethos of nurture and self discovery our highly qualified and experienced staff offer opportunities for the children to grow at their own individual rates, giving them the confidence and abilities to become capable and considerate toddlers.

Lydia Maggs

Co-owner and Manager

Lydia Maggs is co owner of Little Stars and manages the baby room at Paulton. She has been working with children since leaving school in 1997and now as an Early Years Teacher she strives to bring the best quality care for even the youngest of our Little Stars and is Safeguarding Lead.

“My favourite aspect of the job is never failing to be surprised by how children see the world in which we live. They see and explore things that we as adults have no time for, seeing the world in its purest form and are fascinated by it”.

Anne – Marie has worked at Little Star Babies since 2020 although has worked in childcare for a total of 22 years and now shares a joint deputy manger role. She is qualified to level 3 in childcare and development and now has the role of SENCO at Paulton.
